1. Cast hub.

 

Aluminum alloy casting wheel hub process is relatively simple, suitable for mass production, low cost

 

The so-called casting wheel hub generally uses the low-pressure casting process. The low-pressure casting is to cast the molten metal in the mold to form and harden. After cooling, the blank is subjected to heat treatment, lathe processing, surface treatment and other procedures to obtain the final product. Due to the process reasons, the density of the finished product is often uneven, so more lead blocks are needed for dynamic balance to achieve better application effect.

 

The advantage of casting wheel hub is that it is cheap and can basically meet the needs of most ordinary consumers without pursuing functionality.

 

2. Forging wheel.

 

Forging wheel hub is mainly forged by large forging press and processed by CNC, which has better quality and more expensive

 

First of all, the hot aluminum ingot is forged into a wheel hub blank by using a 10000 ton forging press (the unit price is basically 10 million level), and then it is produced through spinning process (that is, the width of the wheel rim is extended to meet the corresponding size standard), time correction treatment (molecular rearrangement) and T6 treatment (hardening), and finally produced by CNC finishing and surface treatment. a key! It should be noted that aging treatment and T6 treatment are necessary processes for forging wheel hub, which can greatly increase the durability and strength of wheel hub.
