Casting wheels are also divided into low pressure casting and high pressure casting. Low-pressure casting has low cost and fast production cycle. The original wheels are generally low-pressure casting. In order to pursue a lightweight effect, the modified rim will be pressurized behind the aluminum mold to make the molecular combination of the metal after cooling more tighter to optimize the mechanical properties and achieve the lightweight effect.

Forging rims is to directly "squeeze" aluminum into a rim, relying on a forging press that can generate tens of thousands of tons of forging pressure. Because forged wheels do not need to undergo the process of melting to solidification, molecular morphology does not change, molecular bonds do not break, and in the process of pressure forging, the bonds between molecules become tighter, so the mechanical properties are better than those of cast wheels. Semi-melt forging is between forging and casting. If "casting" means "making ice cream with juice" and "forging" is dough for making desserts, then "semi-melting forging" is made by mixing egg liquid and flour The cost and mechanical properties of paste to make cakes are between casting and forging.

But this is its embarrassment: because the price is not as cheap as casting, it is not bought for the pursuit of cost-effectiveness, because the performance is not as good as forging, so the pursuit of the ultimate is also not worthy of it.

What is spinning casting?

The general OE wheel hub is integrally cast, and the casting mold is the shape of the rim, and the spokes and rim are formed during the casting process. Once the casting is completed, the shape of the rim comes out.
